 I work with some of the most powerful people on the planet. I am
    very very lucky and blessed! What I notice is that they were
    never given permission to be powerful. They have an idea that
    they are, like a concept, but to feel it, know it and live it
    seems to be the hiccup.

    What is being powerful and why do we shy away from it for
    ourselves or others? Let me start by clarifying that power has
    nothing to do with power over someone, something. It’s not the I
    am better than you because I’m powerful and you’re not and I get
    to tell you so. It’s not judgment.

    Power is a state of being fully yourself in your potency without
    having to do something. That you acknowledge, understand, that
    your very essence is a gift and contribution to the planet at all
    times. That you create change here whether you’re aware of it or
    not. And you offer it with joy knowing what it can do for
    everyone.

    The reason we shy away from it is we’re told NOT to be powerful,
    to stay the same as everyone else, not stand out, that it’s
    egotistical, narcissistic blah blah blah.. You get the point! If
    you don’t listen and do your own thing you are immediately punished.
    In some rare cases
    you were told to be powerful by the ones closest to you, but not
    TOO powerful! I notice this often with people in the limelight,
    like movie stars. They chose to live and embody their power and
    we both enjoy their success and also love it when they fall on
    their face. It’s as if there is some boundary of how powerful a
    person can be and if they cross it they must be taken down. Who
    wants to be judged so harshly? It’s easier to hide amongst the
    judgers and not stand out to much.

    It is our nature to be powerful, you can’t stop yourself! Our
    thoughts, feelings, choices create realities here and everywhere
    all the time. Our bodies are doing a godzillion things at one
    time.  We are connected to everything, everywhere. We are
    infinite pretending that we’re not.

    The more willing you are to be powerful by just being you all the
    time the more we’re all gifted. After all you came here to be an
    incredible contribution. Your presence is quite extraordinary and
    will never occur again.

So, if you’ve never been given permission to be powerful, I give
    it to you now. I pledge that I CAN HANDLE your power and potency.
    That I have no desire to squash or limit you. That through you
    expressing your power this planet will be gifted and contributed
    to in a way it never has. It is ok for you to be powerful!
